2004 Mitsubishi Montero (Pajero NP)
Acquired: March 2019

Jeremiah had a stroke of luck in finding a low-mileage Gen 3 Montero in Houston with a laundry list of maintenance records, already modified with an ARB winch bumper and Old Man Emu suspension and sitting on 35’s. His first order of business was to swap the tires for a set of more practical 33” General Grabber X3’s, then install one of Andy’s custom roof racks, some lighting, and a 23Zero roof-top tent.

1999 Mitsubishi Montero (Pajero NL)
Acquired: December 2017

Stefan found this Gen 2.5 ‘Winter Package’ in stock form pounding pavement in Palm Springs, California with an excellent service history. A quick one-way plane ticket and a solo cross-country drive brought it back to Texas. He built it with the help of a couple friends in 6-months using components from Adventure Driven Design, Old Man Emu, Bilstein, ARB, Lightforce, Dometic, CVT, DFG, and has since put thousands of miles off-pavement across seven states.

2006 Mitsubishi Montero (Pajero NP)
Acquired: April 2019

Andy came to find this one-owner, low-mileage Gen 3 Montero in Manhattan, so to get it home the three of us flew to New York City and spent a weekend driving it home to Texas. Since arriving, Andy’s given it a top-end refresh, plenty of catch-up maintenance, Old Man Emu suspension, an ARB bumper, a custom roof-rack, and a fresh set of 33” Milestar Patagonia MT’s.

Overland Adventures

Being driven to explore what is over the next hill, beyond that furthest ridge, or just beyond the summit is what motivates us all to seek out adventure. It’s thinking we should turn back, but knowing we had the foresight to prepare and the skill-set and capabilities to push on in the face of obscurity.

Around Camp…

Just like every day’s adventure on the trail is unique, so is each night’s camp. There’s just something special about coming into camp after a long day on the trail and understanding that everyone knows their part in setting up camp.

Exploring

“We have an unknown distance yet to travel, an unknown river to explore. What falls there are, we know not; what rocks beset the channel, we know not; what walls ride over the river, we know not. Ah, well! we may conjecture many things.”

John Wesley Powell - May 24, 1869

Camp Chef…

Camp cooking is more than a chore. It is an integral act when in the outdoors that can be the cherry-in-the-cola before or after a long day on the trail. Nothing boosts morale in shorter time than cooking for others. It promotes conversation, reinforces existing relationships, and creates opportunity for bonds. We break bread as friends and family on our travels and we welcome you into our camp.
